Reading

Reading is a significant centre for business, with some of the major British companies headquarters and the United Kingdom's offices of a few of the major foreign multinationals, especially in the IT industry. Many international companies have chosen Reading as their base, because of its fantastic communications network, and some of the best high tech business parks in the south-east of England.

Conference Centres

The The Wokefield Executive Centre is located just off Junction 11 of the M4 and set in a parkland golf course. A purpose-built venue that offers excellent meeting facilities for up to 350 delegates. Also offers indoor leisure facilities and choice of restaurants, outdoor activities are well catered for in the 240-acre grounds.

The IoD hub at Davidson House is part of an exclusive UK Network of First Class Conferencing Facilities. Boasting 13 conference suites that can accommodate 6 to 100 delegates, two of which can be combined to form an extended suite. The IoD offers the latest IT and Audio Visual technology, Wireless Internet access and air-conditioning. Also included in the cost are unlimited tea, coffee and water. Catering is available.

The Royal Berkshire Conference Centre is the largest conference venue in Reading, located at the Madejski Stadium. The RBCC can accommodate a wide range of events including meetings, exhibitions, and conferences. The conference venue is situated 45 minutes from central London and Heathrow Airport is only a 20-minute drive. The Conference Centre is only one mile from junction 11 of the M4, and 10 minutes away from Reading Train station on the UK rail network. Free parking spaces are available and the adjoining Millennium Madejski Hotel complex offers on-site four-star accommodation.
