Atlanta is the state capital of Georgia. It is Georgia's largest city and one of the leading cities of the South. Atlanta's manufactures include textiles, furniture, food and beverages, telecommunications hardware, steel, paper, and chemicals while Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, is one of the busiest in the world.

The Conference Center at Waltham Woods is a full service Conference Center located within the award winning headquarters of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Managed by Sodexo Conferencing, the Center is centrally located in the Technology corridor surrounding Boston, Massachusetts. Over 17,000 square feet of dedicated meeting space is available, including an amphitheatre with stadium seating up to 200 people.

Atlanta's subway system, operated by the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), is the eighth busiest in the country. Feeding into the rail system is MARTA's bus system the 14th largest in the country. MARTA lines connect many key destinations in the area such as the airport, Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead, and Perimeter Center.

Amtrak's Down-easter service to Maine originates at North Station. The Logan International Airport, located in the East Boston, handles most of the scheduled passenger service for Boston.
